The HP StorageWorks Enterprise Modular Library (EML) E-Series Tape Libraries provide reliability, scalability and manageability with robust data protection and investment protection in heterogeneous Storage Area Network (SAN) environments. The EML delivers superior data availability with protection against SAN event disruptions using the built in HP StorageWorks Extended Tape Library Architecture (ETLA). ETLA intercepts rogue I/O requests from applications or servers and prevents those requests from interrupting backup or recovery processes. Easily manage the EML remotely while simplifying complex environments with logical library partitioning. The EML is ideally suited for medium to large data centers and as a companion for the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) family.
